Finnish police apprehended around 30 demonstrators outside the Olkiluoto nuclear power station in western Finland on Saturday.

The demonstration began peacefully, but at around 2 pm a group of demonstrators started advancing along to road towards the nuclear power station. According to police, the group refused to follow repeated orders to get off the road.

The demonstrators face fines for insubordination, the police continued.
