A law enabling Finnish doctors to recommend alcohol locks on the cars of patients who consume a lot of alcohol is to come into use soon, according to regional daily Aamulehti on Monday.
Suspicion of a possibility of drunk driving is to be enough to recommend the lock.
According to Aamulehti, doctors support the change which is party of a larger legislative reform that is to be passed by parliament at the beginning of 2011.
