The party leaders of Finland's larger parties are to attend a joint interview session at the Helsinki Music Centre on Election Night, according to a statement by the Finnish Broadcasting Company (YLE) on Monday.
YLE, commercial broadcaster MTV3 as well as the party secretaries of the Centre Party, the National Coalition, the Social Democrats and the Greens have agreed to the joint event, YLE reported.
YLE is not to host its traditional Election Night for the upcoming elections in April because the party leaders have expressed their preference to spend more time at events hosted by their party on the night of the elections.
The joint interview session is to be held in the Helsinki Music Centre, rather than the traditional venue Iso Paja, YLE continued.
Finnish weekly Suomen Kuvalehti reported last week that YLE was to stop hosting the traditional Election Night festivities.
