The British theatre group Spymonkey comes to Finland to put on a guest performance in March. Specialising in comedy and physical theatre, Spymonkey is one of the most amusing and fresh theatre companies in England. To the stage of Espoo City Theatre Spymonkey’s hilarious actors bring their newest production, an interpretation of Herman Melville’s Moby Dick.

The play follows Melville’s epic study of good, evil, fate and obsession after four whalers have found themselves trapped in the belly of a literary monster. As the characters ponder the irony of their fate they end up recounting the story of Moby Dick, creating a glorious mistelling of the classic novel.
